Nutrition

Having always been very interested in Complementary & Alternative Medicine and the impact of these therapies on health and well-being, I qualified as a Nutritional Advisor in 2008. But I felt that wasn't enough, so I decided to continue studying Nutritional Therapy at the College for Naturopathic Medicine in London, qualifying in 2016.

Over the years, I have become more and more convinced of the beneficial impact that nutrition and lifestyle changes can have on our health. Having struggled with health issues myself, I can understand how frustrating it can be if you’re not able to live life to the full and are continuously suffering from symptoms such as fatigue, anxiety, and bloating, without getting to the bottom of what is causing it.

My view is that a holistic and personal approach will increase the chance of health improvement. As we are all unique, there is a need for personal support and guidance on nutrition and lifestyle. After all, everybody is different. Click here for more information on Nutritional Therapy.

Nature

In September 2023, I published a book called Conversations on the Lost Connection with Nature. Through my work as a nutritional therapist, I encountered many people who are rather disconnected from nature, with all the health consequences that disconnection brings.

So, I looked into the importance of Nature connection and pulled together fascinating facts and practical advice, focusing on the special relationship we all have, consciously or unconsciously, with Nature, the benefits for our health and well-being, and the necessity to restore the lost connection with Nature to save our planet and our future.

Art

I recently decided to incorporate Art into my health & wellness business as it is a very important part of my life, something that speaks to many people and can have a big impact on our emotional well-being, and as a result on our physical well-being too.

For me and many others, Art is a wonderful way to fully relax, almost like meditation. This is why I think Art fits very well into the Making Life Joyful concept. I’m very much inspired by Nature and landscapes are my favourite subject, but as Art is also a great way to express emotions that we cannot otherwise express, so I often diverge to other subjects. I love it when my Art speaks to someone, when they get the meaning of what I put on the canvas or paper, it is after all a form of communication.

Art is joyful in so many ways! It allows people to express themselves, connect with emotions, and share experiences with others. Whether you're creating or simply appreciating it. For more information on my Art, please visit this page.

A painting of mine titled The Woods.

Education

I’m passionate about educating people on the benefits of real foods and how they can take advantage of these benefits for health and well-being. I not only talk about what foods would be beneficial, how to achieve a healthier lifestyle, but I’m also an advocate for growing your own food where possible. And of course, I like educating people on the benefits of connecting with Nature.

I am available for talks, panels and workshops on nutrition-related subjects and subjects connected to my book, i.e. Nature & Nutrition, Nature & Sleep, How to Connect with Nature, etc. Please see my Speaking page for more information.
